Everything you need to know about the 2026 EPSO Auditors AD7 exams, including the Notice of Competition, application steps, selection process and test preparation

First details on the Auditors competition

At this stage, there is still very little official information available about the new EPSO Auditors (AD7) competition. What we do know is that on the EPSO website the 'Upcoming competitions' page has been updated, and it looks like applications are planned to open on 14 April 2026 for this new audit competition. The Notice of Competition is usually published on the same day. The NoC will be the key reference point for candidates, as it should set out the eligibility requirements, the profile sought, and the main stages of the selection process.

Even with limited information so far, the timing is not a surprise. The previous auditors competition was launched in March 2022, and the related reserve list is valid until 30 June 2026. This makes the 2026 competition an important opportunity for candidates interested in building a career in the field of audit within the EU institutions.

The session will focus on the main points of the Notice of Competition, including what to pay attention to in the application, how the selection process is likely to work, and what candidates should expect from the tests.

Presented by András Baneth, EU careers expert, former EU official, and founder of EU Training - the focus will be on the key elements of the competition as detailed in the Notice, with live Q&A throughout.
